Althea Collaborative does not provide emergency or crisis services through this website, email, or online contact forms. Website communications are not monitored continuously and should not be used for urgent or emergency needs.Â
Cancellation Policy
We understand that schedules change. Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled in accordance with the cancellation terms provided at the time services are established. Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours notice, as well as missed appointments, may be charged the applicable session fee.

For Parenting Coordination, consultation, coaching, and other professional services billed for time outside of scheduled appointments, fees are assessed in accordance with the service agreement provided to the client.

Refund and Payment Dispute Policy
Althea Collaborative provides professional services that are billed according to the terms of each client's service agreement. Because fees generally reflect professional time already provided, completed services are typically non-refundable.

If you believe you have been charged in error or have a question regarding a charge, please contact Althea Collaborative at office@altheacollaborative.com. We will review billing concerns promptly and work directly with clients to resolve legitimate billing errors or discrepancies.

When a refund is appropriate, it will generally be returned to the original method of payment.
Payment and Fees
Fees vary depending on the service provided and are communicated to clients before services begin. Clients receive applicable fee schedules, payment expectations, and billing terms as part of the service agreement for their specific service.

Certain services may require an advance retainer or deposit. When applicable, retainers are maintained and applied to professional services in accordance with the client's service agreement.

Althea Collaborative is a private-pay practice and does not bill health insurance directly. Clients are responsible for understanding their individual insurance benefits and reimbursement eligibility, when applicable.
Professional
Services
Althea Collaborative provides behavioral health, family, parenting, coaching, Parenting Coordination, and professional consultation services. The nature, scope, fees, and expectations associated with a service are reviewed with clients before services begin.

Parenting Coordination and other court-involved services may also be governed by a court order, professional agreement, or other case-specific requirements.

Althea Collaborative is committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of the individuals and families we serve. Personal and clinical information is handled in accordance with applicable professional, ethical, and legal requirements.
